Intradiscal Oxygen-Ozone Superior to ESI Injections at 12 Months

Design: Prospective, double blind, RCT; Ozone + ESI vs ESI alone.

Effectiveness: At 6 months, 74% of patients treated with ozone were rated as a success, with improved ODI, compared to 47% in patients treated with steroid/anesthetic alone (P < .01).

Safety: No adverse events reported.
